Simpson Lawrence Hyspeed Manual Windlass

Does anyone have a step by step disassembly/reassembly instruction manual for this windlass? I have the exploded view, which came with the windlass when new, but have run into some difficulty with the disassembly.
The reasom for taking it apart is that the windlass appears to be "locked up", in that it is not possible to ratcehet the anchor up........the gypsy works fine when the clutch is loosend and the anchor free falls.
Any help is much appreciated.

SkiprJohn,
Yes, I did a search, but found no step by step disassembly/reassembly instructions. Just did not want to re-invent the wheel if it was not neccessary.

Sorry I can't help. I just had a friend take his apart to discover it was not repairable. It was the type with the chain. He had no instructions either but just started taking screws and bolts out until he got most of it in pieces.
Good luck in your search.
kind regards,
