Sprint 1000 Windlass
I've an old SL Sprint 1000 windlass and accessing it before mounting. Does this windlass require a dual direction solenoid or does it allow a manual free fall? If so, how does one release? Since one has to go forward to release chain stop, is there a compelling reason for a dual switch? I want to keep things simple, already have lazy windlass guilt.
