welding anchor rodes

Hello!

I have only 20 meters of anchor chain. I thought in buy some more and weld one another, but I'm not sure if it will not stuck in the windlass...
It's OK to do this??

They make links for joining chain together. Unless you properly vee the weld area and have no voids in the weld, that will be the weak link. If you have galvanized chain, the weld area will rust first.
If you are going to weld galvanized chain, do it in an open area. If you use a stainless steel filler, it will flow with the zinc (or chrome plating) and leave a smooth transition resistant to rust.
