What Windlass is this

I have a Simpson Lawrence SL500 on eBay if anyone needs one. It is this windlass.

I have the same one on my Formosa 41. Actually would like to know if they are supposed to have a chain stripper in there or not and if the DIN 766 chain is the correct spec for the gypsy. My chain does not run through there very well. I need to replace it soon anyway, so would like to get the right stuff.
