2022 Nautical Almanac U.S. Government Edition

Does anyone have any idea when the 2022 Nautical Almanac Government Edition (orange cover) will be available?

I've emailed the USNO and GPO and received no response.

Actually if you look at the price it's below even the commercial Paradise Cay edition. Also the commercial edition isn't available at Celestaire, Landfall, or Amazon but the UK version is.

Maybe I'm wrong but I doubt the price has been reduced by more than 50% from last year's list price

Re: 2022 Nautical Almanac U.S. Government Edition

I ordered the 2022 Almanac from the US GPO in the middle of June, before their web site had the illustration up. I marvelled at the low price of $23US, but bit the bullet and plunked my credit card down, figuratively speaking. I'm sure the USPO delivered it to the marina in their normal one week, however the Almanac was delivered to my boat this past week (the mail in the marina here seems to go around in ever increasing circles).

In spite of the price of $23 instead of $52, the almanac is routinely the authentic official orange covered US Nautical Almanac.

The commercial edition (blue soft cover with advertisements) was indeed available at Celestaire in past years.

Re: 2022 Nautical Almanac U.S. Government Edition

Be advised: the 2022 N.A. has a minor printing error involving the Sunrise/Moonrise table. (See scan below.) It appears that many of the numbers have been replaced by similar looking letters and inexplicably appear in different font and formats. The copy I recently received came with a corrected table on a loose sheet of paper. However, one can still make sense of and use the erroneously printed table.
