Yes, the Colombian Low does appear to be contracting. I woke up early this AM here in the W highlands of Panama and for the first time in weeks the wind wasnt howling!

Looked at Windy and sure nuff, its settling down and forecast to continue. I think a good window is opening up for you to make the jump to Santa Marta.
