Any free NMEA simulators like Nemastudio?

Is there any free NMEA simulators (which can give at least GPS and AIS) like NemaStudio? It is very good, but its very costly. The demo version is limited to 500 sentences. I am looking for learning purpose. Can anyone help me?

I have a program that I wrote to convert AIS to TTM that I send to my radar/chart plotter.

It also records the GPS/AIS so it can be replayed. It comes with a sample recording file of AIS/GPS that can be played without actually having real AIS/GPS so you can test it.

Like all my programs, its written in REXX but the ooreex interpreter is easy to install.
