Aqaba to Turkey

Greetings everyone,

I am seeking your advise on all fronts (navigation, safety, security, weather, etc.)

Will be sailing my sail boat from Aqaba to Turkey mid September. We will be three of us but none of us has attempted a trip like this. I have the following concerns:

- What is the process crossing Suiese Canal? Has anyone done it recently?
- Whats the best route/bearing to take. I wish to enter Turkey thru Marmaris.
- What is the weather pattern around mid September?
- How many days you think it will take? I am estimating 7 days.
- Is there any concerns with refugees boats running into us and causing problems?
