C-Map Problem

I just ran across this on noonsite.com and thought I would pass it along. Chuck

"The updated C-Map chip for the Caribbean has moved much of Belize west about a mile.
Little Water, Hatchet and Caulker cays have all suffered this fate. I have yet to hear back from cmap about this. It can be a big problem. Our old chip for 2008 was fine but the 2010 is wrong for Belize. It is ok for Panama Bay islands but not Belize.

Wow... That's a pretty big deal. Hopefully they have some way to recall the chips unless people are out on their boats.

I thought they would announce such major amendments of their portfolio. It is not customer friendly if they didn't.
