CPN700i Standard Horizon chartplotter

Can anybody advise me if there could be a fix for a mal-functioning Standard Horizon*CPN700i touchscreen chartplotter?
The cursor on the touchscreen started to move in a random*manner causing visible chart area to move chaotic on the screen. I cleaned the touchscreen, cleared*RAM and re-set to factory settings.*I also*tried to lock the touchscreen *without any lasting success. The PWR button also seems faulty and after pressing it series of bleeps sound and the touchscreen unlocks itself, the plotter can only be turned off by disconnecting the PWR cable.
I emailed SH technical helpline in the UK with no reply so far.*
