Delivery: FL to BVI

Hey guys, Looking to deliver a boat from FL To BVI in the upcoming week. Any ideas on a route to take in the middle of hurricane season ? Also are there any islands left in the Bahamas to refuel etc ?

If you have the range, I'd blow through the Bahamas and fuel up in either the DR or PR. Cats don't sail to windward as a rule but if conditions permit that's a good " Plan A".
Plan B would be to top off in Nassau (cheaper and easier there) and then try for DR/PR.
With 300 gallons aboard you should be fine at that point.

There is a million places to fuel up in the Bahamas including Nassau. You make it sound like the Bahamas have vanished. Joaquin only hit small section.

Forget the Bahamas. Just Head out East for about 3 days then ease off....actually, winds slightly South of East at the moment so you might need another day's worth of Easting.
Plan on 8 to 10 days, no sweat.

That's the plan.... Heading south to give the boat a bit of a sea trial. Going to refuel in cape canaveral or down by Jupiter then head east after the big blow coming our way tomorrow. Going to wait for the seas to come down from 15+ feet Sunday into Monday.

Good luck, safe travels! I'm envious.
