Garmin Charts for Mexico

Anyone have any input on Garmin electronic charts for west coast Mexico, any good?

They are great, as long as you don't trust them.

Many a time our Garmin chart shows us on the wrong side of the Island, anchored on Land, or the channel entrance a mile off.

That pretty much goes along with what I've heard and read. I'm under the impression that a good guide book with GPS coordinates would be a better investment. Any recommendations as to a recently updated guide to fit the bill?
