Using v12.0.0.1 and ooRex 4.2.0.940 with W7U I now see the 'orientation and GPS status' window in the upper right hand corner of an overlay chart.

Is this correct? I don't recall seeing this before

I tried it and don't the gps status in the the chart.

On OpenCPN before you create the chart do you see the gps status? GE2KAP issues a CTRL+I to toggle the gps status off but if its already off it will turn it on. So if you don't see the gps status before you create the chart, enter CTRL+I to turn it on.

CTL+I does not work for me using OpenCPN 3.2.2 BUT it does work on 3.3.1731.

The status does not appear on a chart created using O3.3.1731

The OpenCPN developers added the CTRL+I function to toggle the GPS status as a request from me for GE2KAP so you won't have it if you aren't at the version that has this feature.

NEW TEST VERSION of GE2KAP

Found some more problems with V12.0.0.1 :
- the F1 field help caused a crash
- if the polygon chart created only one chart it would crash
- the filenames of Polygon/Path and the Overlay Chart were retained across restarts.

These problems are corrected in the new test version which you can get here:

Testing OpenCPN 3.3.1824 and GE2KAP 12.0.0.5 and the images don't correspond.

Can you post some images by what you mean and did this only start happening with the new version of OpenCPN?
