Well I don't support old versions so can you please download and install V26.0.0.0 then reproduce the problem. If you get the same error send me the Ge2kap.log.txt file and if the .kap file is not too big, email it to or upload it to a cloud drive like Dropbox and give me a link to it.

Ok, I reinstalled the 26.0.0.0 and now I get a red vertical line not 1/4 to one side but in the middle instead. This is probably the same error in another shape.

Does that line turn off when you turn off chart outlines?
Can I see a screenshot.

Also are you sure it didn't produce two kap charts? Do you see only one oval/rectangle at the bottom?
I will look at the files you sent when I get back home tomorrow on my computer so don't delete the links.

Yes it turns off by chart outlines.

There is only one oval/rectangle at the bottom of OCPN and there is only one file in the charts directory. You can see the oval/rectangle on the print screens in the previous post.

We are launching and will be crossing to Grenada tomorrow (the 18'th) so we will be out of Internet for a couple of days I suppose. I will be available during today Sunday.

I downloaded the Woburn Bay chart and displayed on my OpenCPN.

It appears that the chart is composed of two charts side by side so that the chart outlines are shown going through the kap chart.

Am curious why the screen shot from Hans does not have a vector chart background such as cm93

I downloaded it too and there is definitely a problem with the border. Its actually only displaying 8 of the 16 images in the tile. Will get to work on it tomorrow.

Valhalla, I suppose he does not have the CM93 charts in the chart group, only the .kap charts.

I think my bloodhound algorithm has gone astray following the border. Will give you an update as soon I have a fix.

I have taken away all charts except the one from GE not to worry about other
charts so there will be no discussion about other charts giving border lines.

Be aware of the fact that I have twisted the screen to get a larger Y than X coverage of the area.
This is probably uncommon and maybe has something to to with the problem.
Also this does not happen on every occasion. Sometimes the GE charts are as they should be without the red border line across.

OK I have a fix for this tiling problem. You can try it by downloading a new version of the GE2KAP.rex program from the following link and replacing the one it the directory where GE2KAP.V26.0.0 is installed.
