Ok thanks for the feedback.
You may have a problem creating charts for a polygon or path.
It problem is probably caused by you "twisting the screen to get a larger Y than X coverage of the area." Not sure I will fix that if it works non-twisted.

Btw: what do you mean by "twisted"? Do you turn it 90 degrees?

Has anyone created a global set of GE charts using this method? If so, it would sure be useful if someone would create a torrent for it :-) If not, I'll get around to this eventually and then create a torrent myself and post of it's existence here.

What do you mean by "global", the whole world? That would be some undertaking. Various people have created charts for certain areas. I have done the Caribbean, others have done various parts of the Pacific. Mine are available on my Onedrive:

This may not be an issue for you Paul but I will start here anyway.

When you zoom in the chosen detailed chart is hidden and you have to activate it again. I find this a bit disturbing. Should it not keep the chosen chart ? At least when you zoom in. If you zoom out maybe it's ok if it changes.

Because you have quilting on, as you zoom in the CM93 charts go too a larger scale so they are displayed because their scale is larger than the GE2KAP chart. You can prove this by moving the cursor over the oval for the CM93 and note the scale and compare it to the GE2KAP scale.
You can prevent his by turning off quilting (F9)

I have created a new version that fixes a few minor problems:

- Unable to create charts in a DropBox folder if its shared.
- Chart created by Quilting and Tiling may have incorrect outline.

Also, I updated the Help to show the simpler method to fix the Google Earth API without running the complicated FIX_GE_API fix.

The flu must be affecting you. According to the log you ran the new version and checked if there was a newer version. Of course there is not. Get some rest.

Aha! Just remembered that earlier this month you put out a new GE2KAP.rex file of 19/12/2017 as a fix. Must be the one that has the new version number..

And do still need some rest. This flu is a bummer.

But I did some testing and found that if you are using Microsoft Edge as your default browser it does fail with a different error, see attachment.
If the default Browser is Internet Explorer or Chrome it works fine. Maybe you can verify that if you run GE2KAP.V26.0.0.0 or GE2KAP.V26.0.0.1 and the default browser is Mozilla Firefox that it works OK.

This will take some time to fix for Microsoft Edge as I have to dig into the C++ logic of the Ge2KAPFuncs.dll.

I have created a fix for the Microsoft Edge browser problem. If you are using it as your default browser the "Check for Updates" will not work see the previous post. The fix will be in the next version but for now you can simply download a new zipped version of the GE2KAPFuncs.dll and replace it in the folder where you have installed GE2KAP.V26.0.0.2 Here is a link to the zip file the unzip password is phiggins
