Google Earth to BSB / KAP

I have this version:
Ge2Kap 32.0.0.8
OOrexx 4.2
GE PRO 7.3.2.5495
OpenCpn 4.8.8


When i start Ge2Kap, i have a message: impossibile to start Google Earth

First must uninstall the current version of Google earth using the Control panel, then restart windows (This is very important), then download and install the one from this link:

After open the Help and follow the setup for Google Earth.

GE2KAP.V33.0.0.1 is now available. Fixes a few problem using SasPlanet. I also recommend you upgrade OORexx to V5 it fixes some slowdown problems I had when GE2KAP was using multiple threads. You can get OORexx V5 here: http://www.gdayii.ca/Downloads/ooRex...579-x86_32.exe

I tried to install this new version of ooRexx.

But Windows defender refused this installation and highlighted the existence of a trojan.

Difficult, under these conditions, to have confidence.

On my W10 laptop Windows Defender warned of an un-recognised app but could be installed anyway. I have AVG anti-virus and there were no trojan warnings before or during the update. So now OK!

One of the GE2KAP users has figured out how to give SasPlanet support for C_Map and also Nokia and also how to make the Navionic charts and Navionic Sonar work as a layer.

If you want to see how, join the GE2KAP facebook group by pressing the Facebook button on the GE2KAP options panel.

Hi Paul, For some time now haven't been able to see navionics Sonar in SAS Planet, am using 160707. I know not your issue just thought you may know a work around. I have some images in Cache bit reluctant to reload 160707.

Oceanride007, One of our users figured out how to fix the Navioncs layers and also the Nokia charts , now under "Here and add C-Map (but its having issues)". The best way to fix it is to simply download my latest copy of SasPlanet and install it then Cut your Cache directory from you current Sasplanet and Paste it into the new one. A lot of the users are following and posting the GE2KAP group on Facebook. You should join it to get the latest information.

GE2KAP.V34.0.0 is now available. It allows the user to specify the maximum size for quilted charts. Its now an option (MAXCHARTQUILTSIZE) in the GEKAP.Options.txt. Previously the size was set at 225Meg and this sometimes caused problems.

A new user of GE2KAP has discovered that the link to the oorexx download is corrupt. I will fix it in the next version but if you have this problem the link is:

This is the new version of oorexx which performs better than V4.2.0 so if you are not at V5.0.0, I recommend you install it. Take all the defaults when installing.
