It looks like you have set the default program for .rex programs to Adobe. To fix this:
-- Open a File Explorer, go to the C:Sat2Chart\sat2chart.V3.0.0.0 directory
-- Right click on the check.rex file
-- Select "Open With" then "Choose Another App"
-- Select the "Open Objext Rexx"
-- Check the "Always use this app to open .rex programs"
-- Press OK

Sat2Chart.V3.0.2.0 is now available it gives you the capability of editing existing mbtiles charts even if they were not created with Sat2Chart.

The attachment shows a chart created with Sat2chart and edited with Gimp to colorize the channel and then re-edited with Snagit to add some local information. The section in the Help SaspLanet "Editing an Existing Mbtiles Chart" describes the process.

A new mbtiles function: Now you can create an mbtiles chart from the REAL Google earth.
Just display something on Google earth and enter a chart name with a suffix of .mbtiles. See the attachment. This is similar to creating a single mbtiles chart from the SasPlanet display which has also been rewritten to simplify it.

A few things have popped up:
- If you create a mbtiles chart from Yandex, its ge0-referencing is way off.

- if you don't have GDAL installed and you try to create a mbtiles chart it crashes rather than giving an error message.

Here is a fix, just replace the Sat2Chart.rex in the Sat2Chart.V3.0.4.0 directory with it:

Good afternoon! I'll start by saying I love SAT2CHART. It's a great program for creating charts.
I have converted to pretty much a linux/mac ship (with the exception of a windows VM), and have been trying to get this running on mac with WINE. I've gotten everything installed, both Google Earth running well (much much faster than on a windows VM), but run into an error on SAT 2 chart after it launches google earth.
I know you probably don't support or test in this environment, but it would be useful for linux and mac users.....
My error is as follows. Happy to provide detail, just PM me.

"PGMNAME Fatal error! Press OK to terminate
ERROR: NOSTRING occurred at line:1921
Content of line:
if substr(allmsgs[1],1,260 = 'INFO: No tasks are running' then nop"

I assume this is failed communication between SAT2CHART and google earth in this environment, but unsure....

Thanks in advance. If you're not interested in the config, just let me know and I'll look at other ways to skin the cat.

Since I first wrote GE2KAP years ago it had a requirement that your computer's text size had to be set to 100%. This was needed to allow it to detect when when the Google earth's blue spinwheel on the status bar had stopped .

This new version of Sat2Chart.V3.0.6.0 allows you to have any text size and screen resolution.

Hi,
I just installed the sat2chart.v3.0.6.0 on a fresh version of Windows 7 (running in a virtual machine under Parallels on a Mac).
On startup sat2chart displays an error message that "SetProcessDpiAwarenessContext" was not found in user32.dll and terminates.
Installing all the updates of Windows 7 to the latest version yields the same result.
Any hint very much appreciated!
