Has anyone transited the Dismal Swamp recently?

Heading north next week from NC. Draft 5', mast 50'. I called the Dismal Swamp welcome center, controlling depth is currently 6'. Wondering what the experiences of similar draft vessels have been recently. I came south through the Swamp many years ago in late December on a 24' Cornish Crabber drawing 3' with the board up and thought I'd like to see what it looks like this time of year. Thanks!

I haven't heard any problems, and it's the meat of the spring migration.
