The railroad bridge, when I went that way, was 47' at port Myakka.

Unless you are really looking to do the trip for its own sake I would seriously look into trucking. Its about 1/3 the distance!
There was TN based sailboat hauler just in St Augustine. His truck and trailer would handle to about 40'. I guy named Mahoney was hauling sailboats out of TN a few years back.

I apologize for a senior moment. Hale's Bar Marina is in Lake Nickajack; I don't think there is a Watt's Bar Marina (there are several others), but if there were it would of course be in Watts Bar Lake, two lakes upstream from Nickajack.

Gentlemen, thank you very much for all the great info. Looks like that particular vessel has been scratched off the list.So it has been back to boat shopping for a while now. I do appreciate the knowledge given however.
