Totally !! Question , to be able to do so do you need to have subscriptions to the various agencies ( eg windy , predict ) if so what does it cost , I appreciate that full ocean going systems are not needed for more local journeys so basic stuff will do .

Ha ha , I think I know what you mean but don’t think I could manage that on my home Comp , certainly not on my phone at work !! Predict does me ok , even now know how to get their heading ,,, ah , progress !! ( which seems to be pretty perfect for them this morning )

Re: La Vagabonde's crossing

Progress looks good , still in fairly good sailing conditions and no nearer the storm to their right , hopefully they can still get the tail of it for some good easting later , looks like tomo now ( 23rd )

Just got in from packing the spinnaker away on the bow and furling the jib in a squall. Now back sailing with full canvas.

9 hours ago Riley Whitelum posted a picture on Instagram showing someone high up there inspecting the mast. Hard to tell who it is with the low resolution of these satellite-transmitted images, probably Nikki.

Re: La Vagabonde's crossing

I am wondering why they went so far south initially , I would have thot jumping in the Gulf Stream might have been useful for north and eastings , was
It dictated by wind / weather systems ? I tried checking on the early link for predict but can only get current one
