probably but thise ones didn't stay n the same position for the 12+ hours that I didn't have a fix

Don, what raymarine model is it? I have a 435 I chartplotter I think (not near the boat at the moment) with a internal antenna and it loses fixes at times. 3 years old and otherwisw works fine.
