Maxsea 10 GPS / Chart Calibration

Ok, GPS mouse is working now (thanks guys!), but on my chart my mobiles position is 23o and 0.143nm from the position I know that I'm at.
How do I fix this please?

How do you know your current position? If from reading a chart you must assume that the GPS is right and the chart is wrong. Ask a neighbour for their GPS position, plot it on the chart and check if the distance between you and them is within 20 meters or so from the real situation.

If that is confirmed, your GPS is right. Now you will have to make sure the chart you use is the correct datum (assume your GPS is WGS84). Play in the MaxSea menu's for correcting datum.

It sounds like you have an old chart. Try to get your hands on the 2006 C-Map package that's going around the community.

cheers,
Nick.
