My Simrad TP 10

I own a simrad tp 10 for my Irwin 28 and I am having trouble with it. I have owned it for a few years now but rarely ever used it. The last time i used it I had no problem. Go to plug it in today and it lit up and the piston extended mabey an inch and then it just shut of. I never could get it to go again. I used my tester to test both male and female ends and they were fine. I put it in the socket on my soverel which has the same setup and still nothing. Has anyone ever had this same problem and is it fixable or do you guys think I will have to order a new one ???
