Mysterious Chart Symbol on AUS254
I just ran across this chart symbol I have not seen before; on chart AUS254. Looks like a purple helmet with a V on it. It's not in the legend and I couldn't find it online.

Can anyone ID this for me? TIA!

installation bouy and mooring bouy.

Would the V be for visitor mooring by any chance?

With my admitted lack of knowledge about Canadian charts, I would have assumed it was a "Virtual" buoy. In other words, an AIS signal only, no physical buoy.
