Navigation challenge - hitting a bullet with a snail?

Ooh, they are getting close to King Island but at the moment it looks as though they will be closer to the mainland than anticipated. Depending on their course I might have had trouble intercepting them from a King Island base though I suppose by now I would have been out in Bass Strait getting hammered by some considerable winds.

Well, file that for next time if they come to Melbourne again.

They came right up to the coast. The best place to hang out and wait for them would have been Apollo Bay.

Mapfre is currently negotiating the rip, good luck to them, not much fun to be had there.
