Navionics confusion

I have just bought my first keel boat and the Raymarine chartplotter does not have any charts in it. I consulted a friend who said to get the Navionics Gold level charts for the whole of Australia. (Also explained here: https://www.shipmate.com.au/news/nav...num-explained/ ) When I look at what is available, none of the sites tell you what you are getting (silver/gold etc): https://www.arnoldsboatshop.com.au/s...ics-chart.html
These sites also have a chart SD for each state, the chart plotter only has two slots in it and I do not want to be opening up the chart plotter to change SD cards when at sea, nor do I want a chart table full of SD cards.
I do not want a sub standard set of charts in the chart plotter.
What do I do?

buy the biggest possible area on the SD cards.
Raymarine plotter have the card slot outside accessible, easy to change in contrast to B&G.

your second link points to the big all in one chart for oz and nz. I would go for it. Silver / Gold are sufficient for navigation. Ask your navionics dealer about it, det the SKU and search online. You can buy the according empty sd card and download the chart you want from navionics too, same for upgrades or nav area changes.

You can chat with navionics for advice online on their web site.
