I have published yesterday a new release with new settings layout and :

• the possibility to dismiss magnetic compass display (to save battery)
• in the MOB screen, you can now switch between : bow up and MOB up

Let me know if there is a problem

Hello Fred, your app is really excellent. I have used it this weekend and I am really happy with it. I even used your MOB feature as a kind of anchor watch.
I know this is probably asking too much but there is something that would make it truly stand out: the possibility of connecting to the boat's wifi and receiving NMEA info, basically AWS and AWA.

I have just published the release 1.2.1 containing maps from google map. It is not as helpfull as Navionics or OpenseaMap but it will be fine to see our tracks.


You are already more than 15000 to use SailFreeGps and I still haven't used it on the sea !!!
It will come by the end on june...

Fred, I tested it this morning and it works OK! Very nice to see your track on Google Maps and being able to zoom in and out.

Il will investigate deeper but I think there is already "caching" included natively with Google Maps.

I have just indroduced waypoint functionality.
You can now :

• add one waypoint on the map
• change its location
• activate GOTO function
• delete it

There is an "ADD Button" in the top lelf of the map screen.


and you can move a waypoint with a long click on it.
