New B&G Depth only sometimes seen by Navionics App

I'm looking for help figuring out why my Navionics app won't reliably report my depth info, when all of the data seems to be there. I sent a report in to Navionics, but while I wait I thought I'd check here to see if anyone has ideas.

I recently replaced my Standard Horizon 150 series Depth, Speed and Wind instruments with B&G Depth, Speed, Wireless Wind, and two Triton displays. The equipment works great, and I'm pleased with the setup. However whereas my S-H depth was read flawlessly by the Navionics iPad app, the B&G is only seen intermittently. I'll get a single datum point, then nothing for several minutes, then another ping, or maybe even a string of them for as long as a minute, then nothing for 15 minutes, etc.

The rest of my setup, which has not changed is:
NMEA 2000 network
Standard Horizon GW2400 VHF/AIS/GPS
ShipModul MiniPlex-3Wi-N2K WiFi multiplexer.

The Navionics app never loses the GPS or AIS source. I've also used a different app (iNavX) that lets me see and record the NMEA data stream, and the depth data is there about every second or so. the depth comes across on the stream as:
\s:MX30=035*54\$SDDPT,3.46,0.21,20*7B

Here's a screenshot of the sporadic nature of the depth recording (look for sonar overlays on chart along the yellow track line).
