Northstar 567 and NASA AIS Engine II Question

Problem free operation by the two companions above , but I have a question that I can not find an answer to in the Install & Op Manual:

AIS Vessel triangles on the Northstar 567 display show up in blue as vessels are detected. After some minutes, apparently when ship info is received, the triangle color changes to red, yellow, green, ... What is the trigger to select color, and what color is related to which info?

I also asked my local vendor on this, and today he gave me the following response:

Tankers - red
Dredgers, pilot vessels, unspecified - yellow
Tugs - black
Passenger - blue
Cargo - green
High speed craft - white
Land stations - white

A bit strange that they did not include this in the Inst & Operations Manual.............
