That particular daymark on Antigua was the worst discrepancy that I've come across (so far). True, it could have been moved, and the channel into Jolly Harbour could have been shifted, as well. But, but in many other Caribean locations, physical features (land masses) are shown to be hundreds of yards from where they are in reality. On the other hand, I have found the charts of the USVI to be very accurate.

My point to the OP, by offering an example, was simply, don't trust charts, electronic or paper, unless you can verify them with your own two eyes.

Bimini, in the Bahamas, is charted about 1/2 nm from it's actual position.

Look at all the landfill in Singapore. Then use 1800s charts at your own risk - LOL...
