Guy, so much depends on the sailors involved, 2 on 2off around the clock with a catatonic crewman ain't my idea of fun, for sure, but also was not an EPIRB moment for El Ping. As long as the water's on the outside, and one is able to make some progress towards the goal (and El Ping's track surely shows that), no real reason to be rescued and lose the boat, mo' bettah to attain one's goal.
