Patagonian Cruising Notes...

I knocked this up the other day and sent the PDF to Docdroid....

https://docdro.id/XkjVQ7H

This link does not do an auto download ... it takes you to the Docdroid page where the PDF can be either viewed or downloaded.

Designed to be used in conjunction with the Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego Nautical Guide, the RCC Chile Guide, the Admiralty South American Pilots Vol 2 and 3 and the Atlas de Hidrografico de Chile.

Some more information from another cruiser here... Chile – Anchorage notes – Tweed's World

Tierra del Feugo, Patagonia!

You don't need a deck hand do you? (I will sleep on the deck)

G'day Wayne... I've just noticed there are issues with that download... shall sort in the AM.

I'm looking forward to getting back there as well.... only 2400 miles to windward... easy peasy for you.. all down wind...

Re: Patagonian Cruising Notes...

I'm just wondering if you have an AIS transponder?

If not maybe the satellite picked you up on this map?

Apparently you are out of range but if I was prepared to pay for a plan I could find out exactly where you are.

Are you in Port Libertad now?

Small issue with corrupted photos on the last few pages sorted.... new link... https://docdro.id/bO63FbL

I've started using 'Pages' on a mac... not quite up to speed with it yet.

Yes, boat is in Puerto Lucia... on the hard. Paying for a plan would not help just now as the AIS is switched off . I'm in 'Straya at the moment... cowherding.
There are shore stations in La Libertad and Salinas relaying info to MarineTraffic... they show up on the Marinetraffic map as 'wine glasses'.
