PC Plotter and Navionics chats

The latest charts from Navionics do not work with PC Plotter.


Just bought a new card and cant use it on East Coast North America.

PC apps all use the library produced by Navionics for use with their charts. On three charts they have exceeded the number of chartlets that their library can handle.
To solve this issue Navionics has produced an interim program which helps users remove the parts of the chart that they will not need so that the areas of the chart the reqire can be easily viewed.


We are working with Navionics developers in the production of a new library and version 8 of PCPLOTTER and NavigationPLANNER. This version will include an improved panning and presentation of Navionics charts. The program is still some way and we are dependant on the rate at which Navionics developers are able to make input and the first edition of Version 8 it is currently expected around the end of this year.
Version 8 will be a free upgrade to anyone who has recently bought version 7.
Currently we believe that PCPLOTTER is one of the best PC based programs – we have also offered TIKI, a program produced in Norway, but this has some limitations now.
