Pentecost Island Vanuatu

I have a mate who is in Vanuatu on his Swanson 42. He's planning to head to Pentecost Island in the next day or two. What are the anchorages like there? Tony in Sydney.

Hi Tony,

The anchorages on the west side of Pentecote are all good off black sand beaches. No good in westerly weather but there won't be any of that in the next week or so.
The southern most beach, Homo, is where the land divers are...he will see the towers.
The east side is no go due to prevailing E to SE winds and swell.

Evidently, there are anchorages off villages of Loltong, Waterfall, and Panngi.
