Saildocs and grib files question

I recently figured out a way to request current(gulf stream) in a form of grib file from saildocs, but it comes via RTOFS model and is a separate grib file from the GFS model i use for wind, pressure, sea temperature etc.

Is there a way to load both grib files into a viewer at the same time to superimpose both, for instance leave current as color, and look at isobars or wind feathers on top of it. This would be great to asses wind against current scenarios in a more detailed level.


Two request statements for saildocs request I use are:

Thanks I'll try. Im realizing that it might not be as significant to plot the current along with wind together. In openCPN, I can always plot current, draw a track along the current, then open GFS grib file and get an idea on when to avoid a particular situation.

One more question, I am looking for 500mB chart, and I was able to get the wind and pressures a the 500mB level, but I cant really see the "564" contour using openCPN grib plugin.



Anyone knows a good way to get that plot via saildocs request in form of a grib file or TIFF or jpeg.
