TP32 steering to wind error

I have a problem with the TP32 steering to wind. When I press the buttons to steer to wind, the TP32 starts steering to wind for less than a minute and than starts beeping which, according to the manual, means that it errors. The course did not change in that time, and no change of wind strength or direction. Even when moored the same behaviour can been seen.

My setup is a IS15 combi box, wind transducer, Geonav 4c, Clipper GPS Repeater, all connected to a multiplexer. The output from the multiplexer is send via OUt-1 to the TP32 and via Out-2 to the Clipper display.

Anyone around who might have a clue why the TP32 errors.
