Uploading charts to a Furuno plotter
I have a Furuno 1823C Radar/plotter. It takes the Furuno and Navionics chart cards. These cards all cost a small fortune, so I'm looking at "alternatives".

I'm trying to find out if it is possible to upload charts into the unit, or work off a laptop into the unit, or write my own cards that I can use. I've looked around for information, but I can't find anything useful.

Does anyone else have any suggestions?
