Using a Paper Plotter with a GPS

Hi, my dad has a Furuno fp300m paper plotter and he has all of his fishing tows on it and he just like having the backup and he likes the old technology and I told him he might be able to hook a gps up to it because we don't have loran anymore. If so can you guys tell me were i can get one or how I tell if they can hook up? Thanks
