Virtual Passage

Anybody have any experience with this?

Virtual Passages

Looks like a much less expensive competitor to Virtual Passage Planner. The web site doesn't offer much of a description. I wonder if the product is at all comparable to VPP2.

Yes, I had a go on a trial version.

I wouldn't spend 2 bob on it let alone $20.

I kninda know what people are looking for before they buy a boat or when they want to try new ideas... something like Microsoft Flight Simulator. Theres nothing like that that I have seen.

World Weather Router/Sailboat Simulator. Includes 5 years of world weather data and tropical cyclone positions.
Throw in a virtual boat and you could drink rum in far away virtual places all the time. Virtual weather seems un required. If it's virtual why would you have a storm? I could pretend not to have any weather and have more fun. Sort of like virtual cock roaches. Once you've seen the real things the virtual ones lose a lot of the charm.
