Waterwayguide.com: bigger Google Maps?

On the waterwayguide.com web site, if you use the "waterway planner" tab, you get marvelous google map mashups with great information on them. Except, it seems like the Google map is about the size of a paperback book and there's no way to make that bigger?

Is there any way to use this marvelous tool and get "more map" in the map, without simply changing the map scale and getting more stuff in the same tiny size map?

(Another weakness of Google Maps, I suppose.)

HS, You can also find these on other sites, each with their own information.
Cruiser's Net
Marinalife
These seem to be larger than the viewer on Waterway Guide site.
These are all EarthNC based and one can zoom in and out and move the maps around. The Cruisers Net viewer is a little more difficult to find. It is divided into sections that are buried in the drop down menus on the right column. The viewer sizes are pretty much delegated to whatever size the website wants to assign it to the page. We have found them very useful. Susan and I helped develop a lot of the information on both the Waterway Guide and marinalife viewers. Chuck

Re: Waterwayguide.com: bigger Google Maps?

Hey, thanks Chuck. Those are both bigger, but still nowhere near "screen-filling". I guess I'll stick to "huge obsolete paper" for planning, and then keep on using the screen to check for updates. I like BIG pieces of paper, I wish the folks doing the web programming understood why "BIG" and "RESIZEABLE" were worth consideration.

I almost forgot. You can go directly to the EarthNC website.
