Width of the Gulf Stream from St. Augustine

Does anybody have information about the width of the gulfstream (May 2013) when headed out of St. Augustine, Fl ?? Did not find any info online, U.S. Towboat no help and not beeen able to reach the USCG.

It seems that the Gulfstream is about 30 miles wide off most of Florida. It can, however, double its width at about 29* north. That's just about right on St. Augustine.
Google is your friend.
For accurate and timely info you would need to contact one of the pro gulfstream research folks, unless you have a contact in the world of satellites.

So here is a picture of the gulf stream. I scaled it so 1 in equaled 10nm and have put two scale lines on it: a 120 miles one between two latitude lines on the left and a 70nm one across the gulf stream at about the longitude you are looking at. You can see, as mentioned in the post above, that it widens out and about doubles at about 29N.
