Will Other Multi-Function Head Units Work with My Navman 3100 Transducer ?

Hey Technical people

I think I have put this in the right area, My navman wind depth speed head units are nearly impossible to read and replacements seem hard to find and unreliable can any other head units work with my current transducer as I could avoid a haul out till next year.

I had the same problem with the 3100 multi and have just replaced it with a head unit from an Advansea S400 Multi head unit.

I have seen them advertised on the web as a replacement for the Navman 3100 and that seems to be the case. The transducers from the Navman plugged straight in. Now to see how long it lasts (2 days so far so good).
