World Charts on One CD?

Saw this for sale on ebay.Dont know if the link will work for you as the auction is about to end.But I was wondering if the information was genuine. All those charts on one CD?Is it possible? Please note.I am not asking if this CD is legal or if it interacts with any program.I am asking are all those charts actually on that CD and you can look at them with your computer?Or is it just full of large scale ocean charts?Anyone know?

Having bought a couple of them just for giggles, i can tell you that most of them are small scale charts on the order of 1:125,000 or smaller. Good for a general look see or passage making but nothing detailed. You do get a few large scale maps of harbours and what not but every harbour. The other thing is the age of the charts.

Each one came with basic viewing software on the disk, and it works well on my pc. I run a PIV with windows XP. Its fun to play with on a cold winter nite, thinking about all the places I'd like to see.

"These charts were produced by the NOAA Office of Coastal Survey, and were intended for navigational use. However, as per "NOAA Raster Nautical Charts" User Agreement, these NOAA RNC charts are considered "redistributed," and as such are NOT considered official NOAA RNCs, and do not meet federal chart carriage regulations for regulated vessels."

Didn't know NOAA did worldwide charts in the first place? These can be downloaded for free anyway..
