Your ability to navigate may depend on where you grew up

I grew up in Farm country we had fields, woods, steams etc. however two of my children have excellent navigation skills. since when we would go places they were my Navigators. my middle child has a lousy sense of direction like his mother.

I grew up on a fish boat in S.E.Alaska. No roads, no cars, no TV.
