Any recommendations for through hull transducer?

Hi folks,
Our 60' ferrocement ketch broke her moorings and ended up aground courtesy of storm Gabrielle in NZ last week.
Luckily we managed to her get afloat again but are having to slip her to repair hull damage. While she's there we want to fit a depth sounder transducer.
Anyone have any recommendations ?
In an ideal world where money is no object, I'd just pick the best. But were not and it is.
So, want best bang for buck, and if remotely possible, something with a forward facing capability would be awesome.
All suggestions very gratefully received.
Cheers
