But seriously, these intruders (junks) are no party for us sailors. IMO stay inside and give them what they hate, a lot of noise (sirene) and a lot of light. Don't play with your life, you only have one.

Never watched it.. not into crap.. however was raised in a country that specialises in improvisation and knockoff..
You be hard pressed to tell one off their AK47's from the real thing.. but its likely to blow up in your face after a few 1000 rounds..

I'm confused? Are you saying you don't like to watch crap but are into doing crap?

FYI: In the original show, they didn't blow up gas can's, they weren't allowed to have guns due to probation rules so the strapped TNT to an arrow and fired it. Lots of improvisation and knockoff stuff though all about as silly as your exploding arrows idea. (don't get me wrong it's funny but about as believable as a viable solution to the OP's concerns)

yup they were not allowed to use guns due to getting caught making booze and selling it .( without paying the government for the privilege) aka bootlegging .
And FYI the dynamite on the arrow does work just not to accurate.

Not to accurate but doesn't it count kind of like "Horseshoes and Hand Grenades"

Ohh, I'm quite familiar. I lived in SD(where she is from....I think?) for a good bit of my life, and she was at every rodeo and county fair in the land.

What can I say.. I had an underprivileged childhood.. no TV, one half hour/week Western music on the radio.. American Overseas mobile library every three months gave me a diet of Davy Crocket and Mick Fynn's adventures poling up the Mississippi, Cochise and Geronimo, Greek myths and hero's, along with the once a year couple of books from the UK like the Famous Five and William.. school was Dickens and Shakespeare so the escape was bliss.. made my own bows and arrows out of bamboo with 6" nails at the head and mallard feather flights.. amusement at boarding school was a catapult and patackas.. flint chips and gunpowder rolled into a ball with tissue paper and sealed with rice paste.. fired at rickshaw and taxi rears then giggle as they screeched to a halt and ran round checking the tyres.. best friends were my 5 dogs..
A simple life.. but fun..

I went to College where the opening of that original show was filmed.
Where the car jumps over the dirt ramp was actually the Quadrangle at Oxford College of Emory University in Georgia.
That show destroyed I think about 300 1969 Dodge Chargers

No worries. It was just ironic that you were into doing all kinds of crazy improvisation and the show was always doing crazy improvisation (quite similar in relation to bows) but one was crap.

By the way is Mick Fynn, Huck Finn's Cockney cousin? And what kind of trick did Huck use to get him to pole UP the Mississippi? Standard practice was build a raft and float down. (Now I'm just messing with ya )

I may have gotten the name not quite right but he was a legendary barge man who worked the Mississippi long before engines.. they would pole and haul their way up with cargo then come back down with goods from the opening territories.. a sort of Davy Crocket of the water.
It is getting on 60yrs since I read those books..
