I stand corrected, HelloSailor, about the CO2 for PFD's. I quoted one non-volume specific prohibition, and then found another that covered PFD's. As I mentioned, I have done this myself, in 2009, on AA out of SEA connecting through MIA. I'll cary the printed regulation should I need to carry a PFD again.
