Re: Do pee over the side?

Hey unclemac, your pictures never show up for me. Though all other members do.

It's always showing two blank squares. One with the placeholder icon in the top left. And the other a black square with the "plug-in needed" text in the center.

I'm on an Android phone so can't see flash, if that's an issue.

I'm guessing you link to a url and do not use the manage attachments on the reply page.

Anyone else have this issue?

Re: Do you pee over the side?

I used to when I was much younger, more agile, and had better balance. And even then I almost went overboard once. Now that I'm older and wiser, I use a large plastic cup (properly marked with a Sharpie) for that purpose. ESPECIALLY when solo sailing!!

Re: Do you pee over the side?

There are two kinds of divers....those that pee in their wet suit and those that lie.

Sailors are different?

The problem I've had with peeing in Gatorade bottles is at least two times I forgot what was in it .Once I got a big gulp of wallpaper remover and the other time it was piss.

Another good reason to only drink the blue Gatorade. Honestly I'm not sure I'd be able to tell the difference with the yellow one...

The wallpaper remover was the blue color. It looked really good, Actually I think it was wallpaper glue

Re: Do you pee over the side?

Never put lacquer thinner in Moutain Dew can. It will be cool to the touch when you pick it up.

Never swallowed any but my mouth was ready for the primer coat a couple of times.

I don't remember the Grand Canyon regulations, but peeing in the river is the rule on other permit-required rivers in the Intermountain region of the USA. **** must be carried out. Both are excellent rules.

Back to boats: I have never peed into a boat head. I would say that I always pee off the rail, even at anchor and even in mixed company (if you can't handle that, you can't be my friend), but if the going is sporty enough to have spilt beer in the cockpit, the beer I filter goes out the scuppers, too.

Mountain Dew. Or Fanta.
As my friend Bubba says, "Food don't come in that color."

Re: Do you pee over the side?

Yes, well, I'm far from perfect.

Enjoy bacon for breakfast and sometimes sail with only the headsail. Lord help me.

Amen!I've had the mixed company do it. No big deal amongst friends. Ogling isn't permitted however.
