Ignore them. They're harmless.

An aerosol can of Ridsect Lizard Repellent will do right fine by you if you point it into those crevices and canvas areas that are not reachable.

I reckon you will find that small white eggs/egg shells in some of those crevices and canvas areas.

Re: Geko’s aboard

My experience was that the geko's quickly ran out of bugs to eat on passage and died.

Re: Geko’s aboard

A geco aboard are dangerous, they nest in places out of reach and their eggs can and do find their way to the bilge and can (have) blocked the duck bill valves of manual pumps and shower sumps. They can also get in behind power points and if the point or light fitting is live then can short out ,,, yep once they have fried enough they can catch fire. I used sticky roach hotels and put them near a light source at night so they get a food source from the bugs coming into the light. Cockroach surface spray directly slows them down so you can catch them. And the worst thing about an infestation is they like to get on the ceiling and drop nuggets into your rum or partly chewed insects into your soup. Good luck on your quest to eradicate them.

I was in a place in Asia once where they fed the chickens on the fish scraps from the markets. The chicken tasted like sardines.
