I want this boat hook

Anyone actually used one of these?

A very cool Swedish invention. [VIDEO]

Re: I want this boat hook

I have two of them.

We use them every time we dock. It is the easiest way we've found to get a line around a cleat.

Especially useful in a situation where you are being blown away from the dock.

Looks a nice bit of kit.

Similar concept: HOME

Even glows in the dark...

And it also has a boat washing attachment.

Re: I want this boat hook

Years ago I had something like this, but it was made by Davis. It worked OK. It finally broke and they stopped making them. It was especially good at picking up moorings.

Re: I want this boat hook

A much more refined version of the old Happy Hooker concept.
